Evolution
My passion for strength training began when I was an undergraduate at the University of California, Davis where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Microbiology.
In 2008 I was challenged by a family member to run a half marathon- more like I was told I wouldn’t be able to. That challenge sparked the runner in me I never knew existed! Since then I’ve completed the New York City Marathon and half-marathons including numerous at both Disneyland and Disney World, as well as others across the country.
I’ve been a certified personal trainer since 2010 with the National Strength and Conditioning Association, the world's leading professional organization for strength and conditioning. During my time as a trainer I’ve worked with clients across the country in Los Angeles, New York City, and Dallas, Texas. In 2016 I earned a dual Master's degree in Exercise Science and Nutrition.
After seven successful years as a Tier 3+ Coach at the luxury fitness club Equinox, I decided to embark on my own entrepreneurial journey and established The Uptown Trainer. My commitment to quality and service remains unchanged while offering clients the added flexibility of training at their home or office.
